Debra L. Petry
(daughter of the late Jack R. Carte & Emma L. Carte/Settle)
Debbie joined the Lordsmen on May 8, 1976. She was raised in Belle, West Virginia and attended Belle Nazarene while growing up. She was saved at the age of 15 under the Lordsmen ministry and married Tony Petry on June 29, 1979. Debbie's favorite past time is working on the house and creating one of a kind crafts. She loves watching home makeover shows and has implimented some of the ideas at home. She is office manager for Faith Electrical Services . Debbie has written seventeen songs that the group has recorded. Her favorite holidays are Christmas and Easter. Debbie says: "If it weren’t for the birth of our Lord and Savior, there would not have been the death, burial but most of all the Resurrection. Our lives would be doomed for hell, but Christ paid the price in full and I have made preparations to make Heaven my home".
Tony C. Petry
(son of THE LATE Carl H. & Doris Jean Petry)
Tony joined the Lordsmen on May 22, 1976 as the drummer and began singing in 1978. Tony grew up in Chelyan, West Virginia and attended the Chelyan United Methodist Church as a child. Tony is a Support Tech I for Appalachian Power Co. in Charleston, WV with 19 years of service. Tony enjoys trio and quartet singing whether it's mixed groups or all male groups. His favorite past time is working on the bus keeping it all nice and clean, on the outside of course. His favorite holiday is Christmas. Tony says: "I am thankful that the only begotten son of the most high living God came to earth as a baby. He suffered everyday trials and temptations as we do yet did not sin. Praise God forever".
Tony "Craig" Petry, II
(son of Tony C. and Debra L. Petry)
Craig is a graduate of Herbert Hoover HS. He was saved at the age of 8 and at the age of 14 God provided Craig an opportunity to be an impact in the ministry of the Lordsmen through playing the drums. Craig graduated from WV State College with a four year degree in Business Administration and received his MBA from Marshall University. He is a branch manager for BB&T at their 38th St, Kanawha City, WV location. Craig now sings baritone for the group and in 2001 answered the call to preach. Craig preaches at many of the groups appointments and is also accepting preaching engagements apart from the group. On April 9, 2005, Craig married Amy Slater and they have one child. They reside in the Charleston area.
Joshua Petry
(son of Tony C. and Debra L. Petry)
Josh is a graduate of Herbert Hoover HS. He has been traveling with the group ever since he was 2 weeks old. The Lord saved Josh at an early age too, and since that time he has been blessed with the ability to play the bass guitar and is now singing bass with the group. Josh completed a two-year course of study in the field of Electricity at Carver Career Center and is Co-owner of Faith Electrical Services. His favorite past-time is singing and playing the bass in his studio while listening to groups with awesome bass singers. Josh married Stephanie Fields on May 27, 2005 and they have one child. They reside in the Elkview area.
JASON and FAITH PETRY
Jason and Faith are Tony and Debbie's two youngest children. Jason is 25 years old and is a 2006 graduate of the University of Charleston. He was a shooting guard for the Golden Eagles basketball team for three seasons. He has recently completed a MBA at Marshall University. Jason married Janna Stone on March 1, 2008. Faith is 20 years old, and is a graduate of Herbert Hoover HS. In October of 2010 Faith married Justin Spencer and they reside in the Clendenin area.
